Understanding AccuWeb.Cloud Pricing

When it comes to cloud hosting, understanding the pricing structure is crucial to managing your costs effectively. In this detailed guide, we’ll explore the pricing for AccuWeb.Cloud and covering what is charged, where you can se consumed resources, how much rеsourcеs cost, and tips on how to dеcrеasе consumption.

What is Chargеd?

AccuWeb.Cloud chargеs usеrs basеd on thе resource consumption of each environment on an hourly basis. There are two main types of charges:

Primary Charges

These are the fes for the core platform resources such as RAM and CPU, which are provided within cloudlets. Cloudlets are the basic units of measurement for resource allocation in the cloud.

Optional Extras

These are charges for additional platform features that you may choose to utilize. Optional extras allow you to enhance your cloud environment with added functionalities but they come at an extra cost.

For a more detailed breakdown of these charges, you can refer to the Charged Resources document.

Where Can Consumed Resources Be Sen?

Tracking your resource consumption is essential for cost management. AccuWeb.Cloud provides several ways to monitor your usage through the dashboard:

Pricing Widget

Located on the right pane of the environment wizard and this widget shows the approximate monthly spending based on the number of reserved cloudlets. It provides a quick glance at your potential costs.

Usage Column

In the environments list, the Usage column displays the current resource consumption for each environment. This includes the amount of occupied disk space (measured in MB) and the current/overall number of cloudlets being used.

Total Usage Statistics

You can view detailed statistics on all resource types—RAM, CPU, Storage, and Network Bandwidth through the appropriate section for the desired node or set of same type nodes. This section helps you understand your consumption patterns and identify areas for optimization.

Billing History

The Billing History section provides comprehensive information on all payable resources consumed during a specified period, along with their costs. This is crucial for auditing and financial planning.

For more details on monitoring your consumed resources, refer to the Monitor Consumed Resources document.

How Much Do Resources Cost?

AccuWeb.Cloud adopts a pay as you go model, meaning you only pay for the resources you consume. Here’s how you can find the precise costs:

AccuWeb.Cloud Pricing Page

We have a dedicated Pricing page where you can find detailed information on the cost of each resource unit. This is the best place to start for accurate pricing.

Platform Dashboard

Within your platform dashboard, navigate to Balance > Quotas & Pricing. Here, you will se a series of tabs displaying pricing information and discount scales for each type of resource available on the platform.

RAM/CPU Pricing

For further information on pricing, and discount systems, consult the Pricing System and Automatic Discounts documents.

How to Decrease Consumption?

Reducing your resource consumption is a practical way to manage and lower your costs. Here are some tips:

Stop Unused Environments

If you have environments that are not neded all the tіme, such as test or development environments, you can stop them when they are not in use.

For example, if you don’t use your environment during nights or wekends, stopping it will prevent charges for unused resources like RAM, CPU, and traffic.

Stop Environment

By stopping your environment, you save on RAM (Memory), CPU, and traffic charges. However, you will still be charged for disk space, public IP, and SSL if you have purchased any.

Optimize Resource Usage

Regularly review and optimize your resource usage. Identify underutilized resources and scale down to avoid unnecessary charges.

By implementing these strategies, you can effectively reduce your resource consumption and manage your costs more efficiently.
