How to Configure Load Balancer using LiteSpeed Web ADC Balancer in 60 seconds?

The LiteSpeed Web ADC is a tool that helps balance internet visitors on a website, making it faster and more reliable. It’s like ensuring everyone gets a fair turn and the website works well. It works well because it uses advanced technology.

This tool is suitable for any website, whether small or big. It can handle regular visitors and times when many people visit the website. It’s like having a smart helper for your website.

Remember, this tool isn’t free. You have to pay to use it. If you decide to use it, you must buy special permission, like a ticket. If you want this tool, follow the steps below on the platform.

Step 1: Sign in to your AccuWeb.Cloud account.

Step 2: At the top of the screen, find and click on the button that says “New Environment.”

Step 3: A wizard will open. Choose how you want things set up, and pick “LiteSpeed Web ADC” as your helper for balancing internet visitors.

Step 4: Go to “Balancing” and click the arrow pointing downwards. Pick “LiteSpeed Web ADC” and the version you want. For example, we chose 3.1.7.

Step 5: Click “LiteSpeed Web ADC” to make it work as a load balancer.

Step 6: You can make a unique name for this setup. Put that name in the box that says “Environment Name.” After that, click the “Create” button. This will put the LiteSpeed Web ADC Balancer on your AccuWeb.Cloud account.

Remember this tip: You can make changes to your LiteSpeed ADC tool by adjusting some unique settings:

JELASTIC_AUTOCONFIG: This helps decide how many worker processes LiteSpeed should use. You can figure this out independently (it’s on by default) or turn it off.

DEFAULT_CLUSTER: This helps decide how requests are shared between servers. You can choose how this works for your website. You might want to turn this off if you’re using special backends.

WP_PROTECT: This helps keep your WordPress website safe from hackers. You can choose different safety actions, like turning on a captcha. By default, this is turned off.

WP_PROTECT_LIMIT: You can limit how many login attempts can be made on your WordPress site. The default is 10.

These settings help you make your LiteSpeed ADC tool work just as you want.

Step 7: If you press the “Open in Browser” button for the LiteSpeed balancer, you can reach one of the backend application servers without doing anything else.

Step 8: To control your load balancer, go to its Admin Panel.

Click the right button that’s in the Additionally list near the layer. You’ll get the access details in an email after making the server.

Just keep these things in mind when you’re using the LiteSpeed on the platform:

Instead of using Actions and then Version Manager, it’s better to use the platform’s way to fix container issues.

You might see a message about the license key expiring in the Server Log Viewer under Actions. You don’t need to worry about this because the platform will take care of it automatically.

You can do that on the dashboard or connect using SSH if you need to change any unique settings.
