Install and use Backup Storage with AccuWeb.Cloud<\/h2>\n

Let’s set up a main storage center to safely back up all our files and databases. It should be versatile enough to function as one strong node or as a network of nodes that can handle errors and grow as needed, using GlusterFS<\/a>. This storage solution should work smoothly with extra backup tools that come with our ready-to-use apps.<\/p>\n

Installation of Backup Storage<\/h2>\n

Step 1. <\/strong>Head over to the Marketplace<\/a> in your AccuWeb.Cloud dashboard, look up the Storage & File Manager<\/strong>, click on it, then opt for Backup Storage<\/strong> and get it installed.
\n\"Install<\/a>
\nStep 2. <\/strong>Choose between Standalone<\/strong> or Cluster<\/strong> storage options. For Cluster storage, specify the number of nodes<\/strong> and the desired storage size<\/strong>. For Standalone storage, enter the preferred storage size.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Select<\/a><\/p>\n

The installation process might take a while, so please be patient till then.<\/p>\n

\"Started<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 3. <\/strong>After installation, a success message will appear.<\/p>\n

\"Installation<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 4. <\/strong>Once backup storage is installed, create one MySQL database environment from your AccuWeb.Cloud dashboard.<\/p>\n

\"Create<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 5. <\/strong>As soon as the MySQL database environment is created, navigate to the Add-Ons<\/strong> to create a Backup of the environment.<\/p>\n

\"Add-ons\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 6. <\/strong>You will be prompted to the add-ons<\/strong> list. Find the Database Backup\/Restore<\/strong> and install it.<\/p>\n

\"Install<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 7. <\/strong>Choose the backup schedule, storage location<\/strong>, and retention period<\/strong> for up to a maximum of 7 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also, specify your database user name<\/strong> and its password<\/strong> which has enough privilege to access and modify all the databases stored on the server.<\/p>\n

Step 8. <\/strong>Once it is installed, you will see the below successful installation message.<\/p>\n

Step 9. <\/strong>Again go to the Add-ons<\/strong> list and you\u2019ll see the Backup Now<\/strong> option under the Database Backup\/Restore<\/strong>. Click on it to instantly create a backup of the database.<\/p>\n

Step 10. <\/strong>Once the backup is finished, you will see the below message in your AccuWeb.Cloud dashboard.<\/p>\n

Step 11. <\/strong>Now if you want to restore that backup, go to the same Add-ons<\/strong> list and you will find the Restore<\/strong> option under the Database Backup\/Restore.<\/strong> Click on it and select the target environment, choose the backup from the list, and click Restore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
