Remote Access to MySQL\/MariaDB\/Percona<\/h2>\n

You can manage your databases from your computer without logging into our dashboard. Here are some steps to access MySQL<\/a> remotely. These steps work for both Java and PHP environments.<\/p>\n

Tip:<\/strong> You can use the same steps to access MariaDB and Percona remotely.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

Create Environment<\/h2>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Log into the AccuWeb.Cloud platform.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Click the Create Environment<\/strong> button at the top left.<\/p>\n

\"New<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> In the Environment Topology<\/strong> dialog, choose your application server (e.g., Tomcat) and MySQL as the database. Enable Public IPv4<\/a> for MySQL. Then enter your environment name, like remote-access-mysql.<\/p>\n

\"Topology<\/a><\/p>\n

Wait a minute for your environment to be created.<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Click the SQL Databases<\/strong>. Then click on the Node<\/strong> server and you\u2019ll find the public IP just below the private IP address.<\/p>\n

Remote Connection to MySQL<\/h2>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Open a new connection using a desktop client for MySQL (such as MySQL Workbench).<\/p>\n

Click on “Database<\/strong>” and then select “Connect to Database<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

\"Connect<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Enter the connection details: connection name, hostname (your Public IP), port number (3306), username, and password (you received these credentials via email when you created the environment in AccuWeb.Cloud).<\/p>\n

\"Connection<\/a><\/p>\n

In the password field, choose “Store in Vault<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

Enter the database user password in the “Store Password for Connection<\/strong>” window. Then click “OK<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

\"Store<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Click “OK<\/strong>” to begin the MySQL connection process.<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Once the MySQL connection process is complete, you will see the MySQL tab in MySQL Workbench. Now, MySQL remote access is configured, and you can start querying.<\/p>\n
